i'm missing my shepherd's pie like a high-maintenance chick missing her diamonds

i bought this dress from my friend john while lamenting that, even though it's comfortable as hell and i love the colours, all my trendy new york friends would fail to embrace it like i have.

some nip/tucks helped matters quite a bit.

i've always been a fan of this style - i think it's called a mullet hem but that's gross so i'm not gonna think about it - because it reminds me of amanda palmer's skin.graft skirt and other such burlesquey things.
